These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GANGLIA, the conversational entertainment experience at ganglia-ai.com ("GANGLIA," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using GANGLIA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
GANGLIA is an interactive, AI-powered entertainment experience in which you converse with a fictional character by text or voice. It is provided for entertainment purposes only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use GANGLIA. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use GANGLIA only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3. Accounts
You may sign in with Google or create a local account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials secure, and that you are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Summoning minutes and payments
- What you're buying. "Summoning minutes" (or "summons") are a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access GANGLIA for the corresponding time. They have no cash value and are not redeemable for money.
- Payment. Purchases are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars at checkout and may change going forward; the price shown at the time of purchase applies to that purchase.
- Refunds. Summoning minutes are digital goods delivered immediately, so all sales are final and non-refundable except where a refund is required by law or granted at our discretion. If minutes you paid for were not delivered due to a technical error, contact us and we will make it right.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use GANGLIA for any unlawful, harassing, hateful, or abusive purpose;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure;
- submit content you do not have the right to submit, or that infringes others' rights;
- use the service to generate or distribute harmful, illegal, or deceptive content.
6. Your content and voice
You retain ownership of the text and audio you provide. You grant us a limited license to process your inputs — including recording and transcribing your voice, generating responses, and synthesizing speech — solely to operate and improve the service. Within the optional voice-clone storyline, and only if you choose to proceed, you consent to a short synthesized clip resembling your voice being created for that experience. You represent that you have the right to any audio you submit and that your use complies with these Terms.
7. AI-generated content
GANGLIA's responses are generated by artificial intelligence. They are fictional and for entertainment, may be inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable, and should not be relied upon as factual, professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
8. Intellectual property
The GANGLIA name, character, artwork, audio, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding except as needed to use the service.
9. Disclaimers
GANGLIA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GANGLIA AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $100.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold GANGLIA and its operators harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users. You may stop using GANGLIA at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Iowa for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of GANGLIA after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
